The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiotherapy practices, with experience in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings. Responsibilities Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations, including mobility, strength, and functional ability assessments. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, geriatrics, and home health care. Provide hands-on therapy sessions aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall quality of life for diverse patient populations. Document patient progress accurately in accordance with clinical documentation standards and electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems). Coordinate discharge planning and facilitate smooth transitions between inpatient, outpatient, home health, and community care settings. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management. Educate patients and their families on treatment goals, exercises, and injury prevention strategies to support ongoing recovery outside clinical settings. Maintain current knowledge of physiotherapy advancements and adhere to all clinical protocols to ensure high standards of care. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction. Demonstrated experience practicing in a physical therapy role within outpatient clinics, hospitals, inpatient units, or home health environments. Proficiency in developing treatment plans for diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, neurology, and post-surgical patients. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and clinical documentation standards. Experience working with electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems) for accurate patient documentation and care coordination. Knowledge of discharge planning processes and working effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. Ability to adapt treatment approaches based on individual patient needs while maintaining compliance with clinical guidelines.
