Embark on a rewarding opportunity providing physical therapy services to preschool and elementary students in a dynamic school setting near Cambridge, MA. This full-time, contract position offers 30 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and tentatively running through June 15, 2027, with the possibility for extension if the district continues to recruit for a permanent hire. This is an onsite role where youll collaborate with educators and families to support students growth and development.

Key Qualifications:

Active Physical Therapy license/certification in Massachusetts (MA) Credentialed candidates will receive top consideration Previous experience working in a school-based setting is required Experience with preschool and early elementary populations preferred Compliance with all Massachusetts background checks, including CORI and fingerprinting Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct physical therapy services to preschoolers and elementary students according to individualized plans Conduct assessments to guide targeted interventions, monitor progress, and adjust therapy approaches as needed Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care Document services provided, prepare reports, and maintain compliance with all recordkeeping requirements Participate in IEP meetings, offer consultative support, and contribute to a collaborative school climate This outstanding role is ideal for therapists passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners while gaining valuable experience in a supportive school environment.
