Job Description
Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist working with K-12 students for the 2024-2027 school years. This engaging role centers around providing high-quality therapy services to a diverse caseload of 45 students. Enjoy the stability of a long-term assignment while supporting young learners in a dynamic educational setting. You'll work standard school hours—Monday through Friday with 37.5 hours per week—contributing to each student's growth and development in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Your expertise in school-based therapy and healthcare will be instrumental in creating meaningful impact from the day you start through June 2027. What we're looking for: Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license (PT MA) required Experience with school-based PT services (K-12 preferred) Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to develop, implement, and adjust Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Compassionate approach, dedicated to student-focused outcomes Your responsibilities will include: Conducting evaluations and re-evaluations to determine student needs Designing and delivering evidence-based treatment plans for K-12 students Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with educators, families, and other related service providers Maintaining thorough, timely records and adhering to state and federal guidelines Providing consultation and guidance to school staff and parents to support the generalization of skills As part of this contract opportunity, you'll enjoy highly competitive weekly pay ranging from $55-60 per hour, comprehensive insurance (medical, dental, vision, life, and more), a matching 401k, and access to a flexible spending account.
