Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful, rewarding environment supporting K-12 students of varying ages with this contract-based, onsite position for a licensed Physical Therapist. As an essential pediatric service provider, you'll contribute to students' growth and mobility in a dynamic school setting. This role spans the academic year, from early September through mid-June, offering flexibility with per diem hours.
Key Qualifications:
Active Physical Therapist license required Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred Adaptable, collaborative, and communicative approach when partnering with educators, families, and staff Ability to design and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans for a diverse caseload Comfortable working with students from kindergarten to high school
Core Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver PT interventions in accordance with student IEPs and district needs Accurately document services and student progress while maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines Foster physical development and participation for students with a variety of needs Consult with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents to optimize student outcomes and support academic success Engage with supportive faculty and staff in a welcoming school community, focused on student-centered care
