Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Experience the rewarding impact of supporting students' growth by providing physical therapy services in an educational environment. This contract opportunity invites a dedicated, compassionate Physical Therapist to work onsite one day each week for the academic year beginning September 2026 and concluding mid-June 2027. Make a difference in the lives of children and collaborate alongside a multidisciplinary team focused on student progress.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current, active Physical Therapist license valid in Massachusetts Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric physical therapy setting is highly desirable Willingness to obtain additional Massachusetts educational certifications, if required Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families Ability to work independently and adapt within a dynamic educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services to students as part of their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Assess and document students' needs, progress, and outcomes in accordance with district and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to help students reach their physical developmental goals Provide input into IEP meetings and student planning sessions, sharing expertise to support educational success Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance, and uphold professional standards
