Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Seeking an enthusiastic and qualified physical therapist to provide contracted support in an engaging school environment near the Lawrence, MA area. This part-time, onsite opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact with students over the 2026-2027 academic year. This position offers a consistent schedule of one day per week, making it ideal for professionals seeking to expand their school-based experience while maintaining flexibility.
Qualifications & Required Experience:
Valid and active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license Potential for additional Massachusetts educational certifications as required Experience, or strong interest, in working with students in a school setting Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapeutic plans based on student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services in accordance with student IEPs and district guidelines Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to support student access and participation in educational activities Collaborate with educators, administration, and families to best support student success Document student progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
Schedule & Commitment:
