Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in physical therapy to support students across K-12 ages in a dynamic contract opportunity. Working onsite at a school setting, you'll play a vital role in helping students achieve their functional goals and maximize their participation in educational activities. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional passionate about making a positive impact.
Qualifications:
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license required Experience in school-based or pediatric PT settings preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families Strong documentation and communication skills Adaptability to work with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Provide PT evaluations, develop individualized intervention plans, and deliver therapy to students across all grade levels Consult with educators and families to promote best practices for student access and mobility in the classroom Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with regulations Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights for accommodations and supports Stay current with evidence-based practices in school-based PT This school-based contract position offers flexibility with per diem scheduling and the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated interdisciplinary team in a supportive environment. The assignment runs from September 1, 2026, to June 14, 2027, and is located onsite, conveniently near Lawrence, MA.
