Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a motivated Physical Therapist to provide services in a supportive educational environment just north of Boston. This contract role takes place onsite, offering a consistent, structured schedule working one day per week during the school year. The assignment runs from September 1, 2026, through June 14, 2027, giving you a stable commitment to make an impact with school-aged students.
Qualifications:
Current and active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Massachusetts Willingness to secure any additional Massachusetts educational certifications if required Experience in school-based or pediatric PT settings preferred Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with school teams, students, and families Strong assessment and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services onsite within the school, supporting students' access to their educational programs Work collaboratively with special educators, teachers, and other related service providers Evaluate and document student progress, update goals, and contribute to IEP meetings as necessary Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Provide consultative support to school staff on mobility, safety, and adaptive strategies
