Hours:

40 hours/week

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience Acute care hospital experience required Active Massachusetts PT license Local and travel candidates accepted Experience working with adult and geriatric patients Experience with acute care patients in Orthopedics, ICU, Oncology, and Neurology Epic experience preferred

Certifications:

BLS Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care Provide physical therapy treatment to acute care patients Perform assessments, reassessments, and functional mobility evaluations Provide gait training and assist with safe transfers and mobility Develop and document short- and long-term goals Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust plans of care as needed Provide patient and family education Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient recovery and safe discharge
