Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a difference this summer by supporting students' growth and independence! A rewarding opportunity is available for an enthusiastic Physical Therapist to deliver services in an educational setting during the Extended School Year program. This contract role is conveniently situated near North Attleboro, MA, and runs July 6th through August 6th, serving students ages 4 to 22. Enjoy a supportive, collaborative environment while working 2-3 days per week (Monday through Thursday) for 3 hours each day—perfect for those seeking flexibility over the summer months.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapy license in Massachusetts Prior experience as a PT in a school or pediatric environment Understanding of IEPs and ability to support students with diverse needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills Organizational skills to maintain documentation and progress tracking
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans for a variety of physical and developmental challenges Deliver direct therapy services based on individualized goals Consult with teachers and staff to facilitate student participation in school activities Document progress and collaborate with the team to adjust interventions as needed Contribute to IEP meetings and share recommendations for student support
