We are dedicated to delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact in the lives of students. We are currently seeking skilled Physical Therapists to join our team on a contract basis and support schools.

Job Details:

Part time - 3 days/week K-8th grade

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities Collaborate with school staff and Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students Provide direct physical therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings Adapt classroom environments, equipment, and materials to promote accessibility and facilitate student participation Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other professionals involved in the students' care Document student progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information according to agency and school guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate goals and accommodations for students Stay updated on current research, best practices, and relevant laws and regulations in school-based physical therapy

Qualifications:

Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution Previous experience as a School Physical Therapist is preferred, but new graduates with relevant fieldwork experience are encouraged to apply Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and IEP team members How to
