Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active Physical Therapy license in the state, or eligibility to obtain one. Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills for working with students, teachers, and families. Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling efficiently. Eagerness to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct physical therapy services to students according to their IEPs and individual needs. Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students motor skill development and functional abilities. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to ensure students receive comprehensive support. Document treatments, progress notes, and evaluations in compliance with legal and school requirements. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and planning. Offer consultation and training to school staff on positioning, adaptive equipment, and safe mobility practices.
