Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Maryland Physical Therapy license Experience working as a PT in school settings is highly preferred Comfortable delivering services to elementary, middle, or high school-aged students Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapy practices to the needs of students with diverse physical abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Implement individualized physical therapy interventions based on student IEPs Evaluate students' progress and update goals as needed for the extended school year session Collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to support student access to the curriculum Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for each student served Participate in team meetings and provide professional input for IEP planning and adjustment Offer guidance and support to school staff regarding assistive devices and classroom modifications
