Role Overview:

This PRN Acute Care PT provides weekend and holiday coverage, performing initial assessments, treatment planning, implementation, reporting, and documentation for referred patients. The role involves serving as a resource in specialized areas, participating in educational activities, and supporting staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver effective patient care following professional standards, including evaluations, treatment, and equipment needs. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of interventions, discharge plans, and billing. Manage time efficiently to meet productivity targets and adhere to schedules. Participate in team decision-making, interdisciplinary collaboration, staff meetings, and process improvements. Engage in ongoing professional development, serve as a resource, and supervise students and volunteers.

Qualifications:

Degree in Physical Therapy and licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure. 1-2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care settings. Maintains necessary continuing education and BLS certification.
