Job Description

Physical Therapist - Full Time About the
Role:
Orthopaedic Associates of Maine is looking for a skilled and motivated Physical Therapist to join our growing team of healthcare professionals. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives by evaluating, treating, and guiding individuals through personalized rehabilitation programs. Working closely with physicians and care teams, you will utilize therapeutic exercise, physical agents, and evidence-based treatment techniques to help patients regain function and return to the activities they love.
What You'll Do:
Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to support recovery, mobility, and overall function. Deliver evidence-based physical therapy treatments using therapeutic exercise, stretching techniques, manual therapy, physical modalities, and specialized equipment to reduce pain, improve mobility, and prevent future injury. Promote healthy lifestyles and long-term wellness by helping patients improve strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and overall physical function. Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide education to support successful recovery. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standards.
What You'll Bring:
Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program. Current Physical Therapist licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in the State of Maine. Strong knowledge of evidence-based rehabilitation techniques in orthopaedics and sports medicine as well as patient care practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
