We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated clinician to support school-aged students through the end of the academic year. Starting as soon as possible, you'll play an integral role in fostering independence, improving mobility, and supporting each student's unique goals.
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Experience working within school environments or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to develop and implement Individual Education Plan (IEP)-based interventions Flexibility and adaptability within a dynamic team setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and eligibility for PT services Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans focused on educational access and functional participation Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure coordinated care Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and required reports Provide consultative support, resources, and training to educational staff Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal planning This contract opportunity offers the chance to make meaningful connections with students and colleagues while expanding your professional experience in the school setting.
