GENERAL SUMMARY
Perform PT evaluation and diagnose movement dysfunction; use interventions to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs patient assessment, treatment, discharge planning and collaboration with other health care providers. Documents patient care and billing information timely and in accordance with department standards. Communicates with co-workers, and other professionals, including physicians and nurses as needed to ensure optimal patient care. Licensure Administrative Rules providing necessary communication and supervision. Maintains clinical productivity standards. Maintains technical clinical expertise through ongoing clinical education. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
: Physical Therapist bachelor degree with 5 years of experience OR Master's/Doctorate degree acquired from a Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited program
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED
: Current State of Michigan licensure. Will consider those who will be licensed within 30 days of applying. Current CPR certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire)
