Role:
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating residents with various physical disabilities and injuries. You will develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans, using a variety of techniques and therapies to help residents achieve maximum mobility and independence. You will also work closely with our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure that each resident receives comprehensive and effective care.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate residents' physical abilities and develop individualized rehabilitation plans to help them achieve their goals Provide physical therapy treatments, including exercises, stretches, and other modalities, to help residents improve their strength, flexibility, and mobility Use various techniques and therapies, such as manual therapy, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound, to help residents recover from injuries and illnesses Assess and address any physical limitations or barriers that may be impacting residents' ability to participate in activities Communicate regularly with families and caregivers to ensure that residents' needs are being met and to provide ongoing updates on treatment progress Maintain accurate and thorough records of resident treatments and progress Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues
Requirements:
