Job Description
Pelvic Floor Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT) Contract Position Join Our Team at Inner Connections Women Inner Connections Women is a specialty women's health practice dedicated to helping women overcome pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, bladder and bowel dysfunction, sexual pain, and nervous system dysregulation. We provide one-on-one, evidence-based care in a compassionate, trauma-informed environment that treats the whole person—not just their symptoms. We are seeking a passionate Pelvic Floor Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist to join our growing practice as an independent contractor. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive pelvic floor evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's goals. Provide skilled pelvic floor rehabilitation, including internal and external manual therapy when appropriate. Treat conditions including urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, constipation, prolapse, pregnancy/postpartum conditions, and sexual dysfunction. Educate patients on anatomy, breathing, core coordination, body mechanics, and home exercise programs. Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in a timely manner. Collaborate with referring providers and other healthcare professionals as needed. Maintain a caring, professional, and patient-centered environment. Qualifications Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT) in the State of Michigan. Pelvic floor rehabilitation training is required (Herman & Wallace, APTA, Pelvic Guru, or equivalent preferred). Experience with internal pelvic floor assessment and treatment is preferred. Strong manual therapy skills. Excellent communication and patient education abilities. Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently. Passion for women's health and providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Preferred Experience Pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation. Chronic pelvic pain and pain neuroscience education. Trauma-informed care. Visceral mobilization, myofascial release, or craniosacral therapy (a plus but not required). What We Offer Flexible schedule. Competitive contract compensation.
