Westland, MI; Onsite- School Setting Position Summary School-based physical therapists help students improve mobility and physical function so they can fully participate in the classroom and throughout the school environment.

Shift:
Shift details: School Day Schedule Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week Contract length: 12 weeks Key Duties Interpret physician orders related to professional area of responsibility Assess gross motor skills and therapeutic equipment needs of students Develop, implement, monitor and modify treatment plans based on physician orders and assessment of student as appropriate Complete IEP, MET, Medicaid and treatment forms/reports Maintain treatment/progress notes and Medicaid documentation per professional standards Train Paraprofessionals on various student plans Regular and predictable attendance Requirements Licenses & Certifications- Licensed Physical Therapist

- Pediatric experience preferred Skills While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position and is frequently required to move about the inside of the building.
