Wyandotte, MI; Onsite - School Setting Position Summary The School Physical Therapist will be assessing students' physical development level; providing appropriate treatment to meet individualized student objectives; providing recommendations for program development and student placement; and providing direction to Physical Therapy Assistants. We're searching for a part-time PT who is eager to work with one Preschool student for now and possibly take on additional students as caseload needs grow. Shift details: School Day Schedule Hours per week: 1-2 hours per week Contract length: School Year Key Duties Interpret physician orders related to professional area of responsibility Assess gross motor skills and therapeutic equipment needs of students Develop, implement, monitor, and modify treatment plans based on physician orders and assessment of the student as appropriate Collaborates with the school team to develop Individualized Education Programs and Section 504 Plans to address the students' unique needs Deliver direct therapy services and consultative support across assigned schools and settings Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to help shape student plans and goals Manage and document caseload efficiently using the district's IEP system Coordinate with teachers, staff, and caregivers to facilitate student success and progress Provide thorough communication and reporting on student outcomes as needed Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district protocols, including fingerprinting and background requirements Requirements Licenses & Certifications Licensed Physical Therapist - State of Michigan Michigan Driver's License Pediatric experience preferred Skills A passion for working with children The ability to "connect" with staff, children, and parents Exceptional written and oral communication skills Creative and flexible Access to personal transportation Benefits Temporary (Hourly) Roles Comprehensive benefits that include medical, dental, and vision Company-paid Basic Life/AD&D and Long-Term Disability for employees working 30+ hours/week Paid sick leave may be available based on hours worked and state laws Benefit offerings are subject to legal requirements, eligibility status, and work location Employees 21+ can participate in the 401(k) Savings Plan About Us RCM Healthcare Services works with professionals across schools, healthcare, and community-based settings nationwide.
