Minimum 1 Year experience as an Physical Therapist Alto Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to fill a contract opening located in Browns Valley, MN for $60/hr
Contract Details:
Monday - Friday, Day Shift 35 hours/week guaranteed 13 week contract
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Browns Valley, MN. As a Physical Therapist specializing in rehabilitation, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and various physical ailments. Your expertise will guide patients through tailored treatment plans, utilizing advanced techniques and evidence-based practices to enhance their mobility, alleviate pain, and improve overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories and current physical conditions to determine the appropriate rehabilitation needs. Collaborate with medical professionals, including physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and other therapists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients' recovery. Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs, incorporating exercises, therapeutic activities, and modalities to address patients' specific needs and goals. Monitor patients' progress, track improvements, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment procedures, and home exercises, fostering active participation in the recovery process. Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, joint mobilization, neuromuscular reeducation, and functional training, to enhance patients' physical abilities. Regularly document patients' treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with medical record-keeping standards.
Qualifications:
A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist. Specialization or certification in rehabilitation therapy is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, Kinesiology, and therapeutic techniques relevant to rehabilitation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Demonstrated ability to create and modify treatment plans based on individual patient needs and progress. Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and relevant software for documentation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
