Key responsibilities include:
Conducting therapy evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based interventions. Educating patients and caregivers, managing discharge planning, and maintaining comprehensive documentation, billing, and scheduling. Supervising support staff, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and coordinating with physicians to ensure cohesive patient care. Complying with organizational policies, professional ethics, and scope of practice. Providing flexible coverage across departments, supporting smooth transitions of care, and possibly serving as a clinical instructor or committee member.Qualifications include:
Current state licensure in physical therapy. Educational requirements of a degree from an accredited physical therapy program (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate).The role offers:
