1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Rehab position requiring 1+ years of experience and LTC or Rehab setting background, with new grads considered if Level II experience is met.
Details Setting:
Long-term care/rehab facility, Physical Therapy unit
Schedule:
Days, 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday Start time flexible between 6AM and 10AM, but must remain consistent and communicated with the Director of Rehab No weekend or on-call requirements Requirements Minimum 1 year of PT experience required LTC or Rehab setting experience required MO state license required (license required if applicable) Compact license accepted New graduates considered if they have completed Level II clinical experience (not just Level I observation) One reference required for consideration Additional Information Screens, evaluates, and rehabilitates patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care needs Develops and adjusts individualized plans of care based on patient progress and outcomes Administers manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, ambulation training, modalities, and wound care as needed Provides consultation to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders Documents all treatment and regulatory information in the electronic documentation system Participates in required meetings including patient care conferences, utilization review, and rehabilitation meetings May supervise physical therapist assistants, rehab aides, and/or students Maintains adherence to APTA and state practice standards, code of conduct, and ethics Up to 7 days of RTO may be requested
