School-Based Physical Therapist - O Fallon, Missouri Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 O'Fallon, MO Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Benefits Parental leave Qualifications Physical Therapy License Full Job Description Shape a positive impact in early childhood education settings by providing expert physical therapy support for young learners. This contract-based, part-time opportunity offers a dynamic mix of diagnostic evaluations and recommendations, with some hands-on treatment responsibilities to support existing staff during a temporary leave. Your work will directly influence the growth and development of students in their most formative years.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Missouri Physical Therapist license (please include license number in your application) Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred Skilled in conducting assessments, determining needs, and recommending services for early childhood populations Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members, families, and school staff Ability to manage a flexible schedule and adapt to the needs of a diverse young caseload Documentation and reporting proficiency
Responsibilities:
Complete diagnostic evaluations for early childhood students and develop tailored recommendations Provide occasional direct therapy for students as overflow from staff on maternity leave Collaborate with onsite educators, families, and related service providers to ensure best outcomes Maintain timely and accurate records of all assessments and interventions Contribute to eligibility meetings and participate in IEP processes, as needed Work onsite; virtual services are not an option for this assignment No more than 20 hours per week, with preference for mornings—scheduling requests for preferred working days are welcome
