Job Description

Step into an impactful contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist supporting early childhood students. This part-time role focuses on diagnostic assessmentsperforming evaluations, recommending services, and managing some overflow from the current team while another therapist is on maternity leave. Youll work closely with dedicated educators and families to positively influence young learners at the beginning of their school journey. Highlights of what makes this position unique: Work exclusively on-site (no virtual assignments), strengthening relationships and optimizing support for children and staff. Flexible schedulingup to 20 hours per weektailor your working days and hours, with a preference for morning availability. Immediate start through December 1st, making a direct impact right away for a set period. Caseload centers around evaluations and recommendations, so youll focus primarily on diagnostics, with limited ongoing treatment responsibilities.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Active Missouri PT license (please include your license number in your application). Experience or special interest in early childhood settings strongly preferred. Comfort working with diverse learners and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent diagnostic and communication skills. Ability to adapt to flexible schedules and manage a dynamic caseload.

Perform assessments for early childhood students. Develop recommendations for services to support student development. Take on some overflow cases in support of colleagues. Collaborate and consult with teaching staff and families. Ensure all documentation is current and compliant with school requirements.
