Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity to provide impactful support as a Physical Therapist within a vibrant early childhood setting. This flexible, part-time contract role focuses on assessing and evaluating young learners physical needs, recommending appropriate services, and providing essential coverage for treating Physical Therapists currently on leave. In-person expertise is soughtyour hands-on skills and presence will make a direct difference where virtual solutions have fallen short.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active Missouri Physical Therapy license (please include license number with your application) Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in school-based or early childhood environments preferred Strong diagnostic and evaluation skills; familiarity with pediatric assessments and interventions Comfort working independently, managing overflow cases, and collaborating with educational teams Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities for effective family and staff interactions
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for early childhood-aged students Develop clear, actionable recommendations for service needs based on assessments Step in to support the caseload of fellow PTs as needed during their absence Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to develop support plans
