Step into a rewarding role working with young learners as a Physical Therapist for an early childhood program serving PreK students. This contract position provides the opportunity to foster mobility and developmental skills in a supportive school environment. Based near Saint Peters, MO, you will be working on-site across two campuses, helping students in the Riverview and Jennings areas reach important milestones.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Missouri Physical Therapist (PT) license, active and in good standing Previous pediatric or school-based therapy experience preferred Knowledge of early intervention strategies and the ability to collaborate with educators and families Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Flexibility and commitment to working three consistent days per week (with potential for a fourth day beginning post-January)
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct PT services to PreK students in an early childhood setting Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to young childrens needs Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each childs success Maintain accurate service logs, progress notes, and all required documentation Travel between two schools as scheduled, serving a diverse caseload Adhere to district protocols, including timely completion of fingerprinting and technology policy documentation Enjoy a flexible schedule with approximately 22.5 hours per week across three days that you can select (consistent scheduling required). Should your needs change, the district may be able to accommodate full-time hours in the future.
