Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing physical therapy services to early childhood students across two welcoming school locations near Saint Charles, MO. As an on-site professional, you will play a central role in supporting children in PreK programs, working with dedicated educators and families to foster student growth and independence. This position begins as soon as possible and continues through late May 2027, totaling approximately 22.5 hours per week across three self-selected, consistent weekdays. There is potential for the schedule to expand to a fourth day after January, depending on program needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Possession of an active Missouri Physical Therapy license Familiarity with school-based therapy in early childhood or pediatric settings preferred Ability to complete all district credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting and technology form submission Effective communication and collaboration skills with staff and families Strong organization and adaptability in working between school sites
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, individualized physical therapy services for PreK students in accordance with IEP goals Assess and document student progress, participation, and needs within early childhood learning environments Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and parents to optimize student outcomes Provide recommendations for adaptive strategies and modifications to promote student access and participation Maintain all necessary records and reports per district and legal standards This role offers you flexibility in selecting your three working days, a supportive interdisciplinary team, and the chance to make a meaningful difference for young learners during formative years.
