Job Description
Make a difference in early childhood education by providing expert physical therapy services to young learners through a flexible, impactful contract position. This role is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist who thrives in a school-based setting, particularly with early childhood students. In this part-time assignment, youll primarily focus on diagnostic evaluations, help determine student needs, and make service recommendations. Youll also assist with some overflow caseload, supporting the team during a colleagues maternity leave. Enjoy work-life balance with a schedule of no more than 20 hours weekly. Mornings are preferred, but there is flexibility to align the hours and days to fit your availability. The contract will run from as soon as possible through December 1st, and all services are to be provided in person.
What were looking for:
Active and current Missouri Physical Therapist licensure (please include license number when replying) Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is strongly preferred Comfort and expertise with diagnostic evaluations and making recommendations for services Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and communicate findings to staff and families Commitment to on-site, in-person care (virtual services are not being considered for this role) Availability for a flexible, part-time weekday schedule; let us know your preferred days What youll be doing: Conducting evaluations and assessments for early childhood students Recommending and developing individualized service plans Providing select treatment sessions as needed to support the team Assisting with overflow caseload while one of the existing therapists is out on leave Bring your skill and care to a supportive environment that values your expertise and flexibility.
