Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Current, active State Physical Therapist license sanctioned by the Board of Physical Therapy Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is strongly preferred, but not required Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered care Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse physical needs Deliver direct, hands-on therapy to help students improve mobility, strength, coordination, and independence Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities Maintain accurate, compliant records and progress reports Contribute insights for IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Support safe, accessible learning environments and advocate for positive student outcomes
