This is a part-time position ideal for a physical therapist who enjoys working with children and families while maintaining a flexible schedule. The PT will provide evaluation and treatment services to pediatric clients with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and other conditions affecting functional mobility and participation in daily activities. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive pediatric physical therapy evaluations and reassessments. Develop individualized plans of care based on evaluation findings, functional needs, and family priorities. Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve gross motor development, strength, balance, coordination, mobility, endurance, and functional participation. Establish measurable, functional short- and long-term therapy goals. Educate and coach parents/caregivers on home programs and strategies to support carryover outside of therapy. Complete daily treatment notes, evaluations, progress reports, reassessments, and other required documentation within established timelines. Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, behavioral health professionals, physicians, educators, and other members of the child's care team as appropriate. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical presentation and response to intervention. Maintain professional, ethical, and HIPAA-compliant practices. Participate in team communication and care coordination as needed.

Qualifications Required:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. Current or eligible Mississippi Physical Therapist license . Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain prior to providing services. Ability to complete required background checks and credentialing. Strong clinical documentation, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred:

Previous pediatric physical therapy experience. Experience working with children with developmental delays, autism, neurological conditions, genetic disorders, or gross motor impairments. Experience providing family-centered and play-based pediatric therapy. Familiarity with pediatric outpatient, early intervention, school-based, or home/community-based services.
