Job Description

Make an impact by supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade as a Physical Therapist in a dynamic, contract-based role near Halifax, NC. This flexible, part-time opportunity allows you to provide both direct therapy and consultative services to students, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support their growth and success. Both onsite and virtual work options (VOCO) are available, catering to your preferred work style.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapy licensure required Experience delivering therapy services within a school setting preferred Strong understanding of assessments, treatment planning, and therapy documentation Skilled in collaborating with educational professionals and families Ability to manage a varied caseload of K-12 students Comfortable participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform assessments and evaluations for students across grade levels Provide direct therapy minutes as well as indirect consultative services, following a 1:0.5 hour ratio per expectations Maintain accurate documentation per school and state guidelines Work collaboratively with other therapists, educators, and support staff to facilitate student progress Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Participate in team meetings, offering professional insights and recommendations Why consider this contract?
