With a strong commitment to patient care and a track record of excellence, we are expanding our team and seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist. This is a unique opportunity to join a team with extremely low turnover and high job satisfaction. Our main practice is in Portsmouth, NH with additional offices in York, ME and Dover, NH, Exeter, NH & Plaistow NH (Opening in January of 2027) Position Summary Procare Physical Therapy and Hand Center is looking for an enthusiastic Physical Therapist to join our team. Referring Offices Position Requirements Licenses or Certificates:
National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) and NH State Board Examination for NH Licensure Education, vocational training, and experience: Diploma from accredited Physical Therapy Program Experienced and New Graduates are encouraged to apply Intermediate to advanced computer and data entry skills Physically present and on-site at AOSM required Skills and Abilities Approachable and sociable Demonstrates a professional demeanor and appearance Capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting Strong written and verbal communication skills Displays a diligent work ethic Job Responsibilities The Physical Therapist tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms and review their medical history and referrals from doctors or surgeons Diagnose movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them as they move about Develop an individualized treatment plan Coach patients and teach them therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve their condition Use hands-on therapy such as massage to ease patients' pain and provide stimulation to promote healing Maintain patient records by keeping track of goals and progress while adapting treatment plans accordingly Advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options and what to expect from the recovery process
