Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a difference this summer by providing essential physical therapy services to a homebound student. This contract opportunity centers around delivering much-needed PT comp make up sessions, supporting the student's progress before the school year begins.
What You'll Do:
Provide one-on-one direct physical therapy for a homebound student. Complete a total of twelve 30-minute sessions scheduled flexibly between now and August 31. Use your expertise to assess, develop, and implement effective treatment plans tailored for school-aged children. Collaborate with the student's educational team, as needed, to document progress and ensure smooth communication. (Time allotted for additional indirect work will be clarified.) Engage the student in meaningful exercises and activities to increase functional independence for the new school year.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Professional experience as a Physical Therapist (PT), preferably within a school-based or pediatric setting. Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey. Priorability to provide independent, creative, and compassionate PT services to students in a home or virtual setting. Ability to develop individualized plans, set goals, and maintain organized records. Commitment to clear, timely communication with educational staff and family members.
