Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful opportunity as a dedicated Physical Therapist, providing personalized services to support one homebound student before the new academic year begins. This contract role is ideal for professionals passionate about helping students reach their fullest potential through individualized care in a supportive educational environment near Clementon, NJ. Utilize your specialized skills to deliver make-up physical therapy services with the flexibility and autonomy that comes from a contracted assignment. Focused on just one student, you'll play a key role in helping a learner overcome challenges and prepare for a successful school year.
Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist licensure in the state of New Jersey Experience delivering PT services in school or pediatric settings preferred Competence and passion for adapting interventions for homebound students Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff Ability to maintain thorough documentation and follow individualized plans
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 12 half-hour direct PT sessions to a homebound student before August 31 Address compensatory/make-up service requirements in accordance with the student's IEP Customize therapy plans to meet mobility and functional needs in the home setting Maintain clear, accurate, and compliant records of progress and sessions Communicate student progress and needs with educational teams and family members
