Job Description

Position Summary Conducts physical therapy evaluations and treatments according to established standards of physical therapy, physician's referral and physical therapy plan of care. Primary Position Responsibilities 1.Evaluates infants, toddlers and children; develops appropriate treatment plans. 2.Provides developmentally appropriate, therapeutic interventions. 3.Completes thorough and accurate evaluation reports and ongoing daily session notes and progress reports. 4.Maintains acceptable levels of clinical productivity; submits billing accordingly. 5.Counsels and educates patient, family and/or caregiver regarding treatment goals and progress. 6.Communicates with other essential medical and community/school personnel. 7.Maintains personal knowledge and skill levels and contributes to enhancing that of colleagues.
Qualifications Minimum Education:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Physical therapy
Preferred:
•Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field •Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
Required:
1-3 years experience providing therapy within a pediatric setting working with infants, toddlers and children: will consider new graduate
License, Registry or Certification :
Required:
Current New Jersey State License Knowledge, Skills and/or
Abilities :
