Our state-of-the-art 5000 square foot facility is equipped with the latest technology and resources to support our therapists in delivering exceptional patient care. We primarily cater to individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring that our services are accessible to those in our community who require orthopedic rehabilitation. Work Environment Our rehabilitation facility operates onsite, fostering a supportive environment where collaboration and positivity thrive. As part of a small team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement treatment plans while celebrating our patients' progress together. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured yet flexible work environment conducive to work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' goals and requirements and develop customized care plans that reflect these objectives. Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, allowing you to provide focused, one-on-one care tailored to individual needs. Leverage your expertise in orthopedic outpatient settings to administer interventions that promote patient recovery and improve functional mobility. Utilize evidence-based techniques to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility while identifying cost-effective treatments that minimize the reliance on medications and surgical options. Create and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs designed to meet the specific health-related goals of each patient. Utilize proven interventions and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey to optimize their overall functioning. Encourage a healthy lifestyle by promoting strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through individualized exercise protocols. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, monitor patient progress, and maintain clear, thorough documentation of patient interactions and care services provided. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries, including athletes and active individuals who seek to restore their functionality. You will work with a diverse clientele, tailoring approaches to meet the varying needs of patients, promoting their ability to participate fully in daily activities. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required. Must hold a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist. A clean professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions against the license is essential. Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques is necessary to implement effective treatments. Exceptional competence in developing and executing exercise protocols is crucial. Experience utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate patient records. Preferred Experience Demonstrated experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings is highly preferred. A track record of successfully implementing treatment plans that result in improved patient outcomes.
