Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist, providing vital support to students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic school setting near Jersey City, NJ. As a key member of the onsite therapy team, youll bring your expertise and compassion, working with a diverse caseload and helping students achieve their developmental and educational goals. This role offers a fulfilling blend of clinical skills and engagement with young people in an inspiring environment.
Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey is required Experience working with school-age populations preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapy plans based on student needs Familiarity with IEP documentation and special education procedures is a plus
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students across K-12 grades Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and inclusion Develop, implement, and update treatment plans in accordance with each students educational goals Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise to collaborative planning for student success Benefits include competitive weekly pay, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement planall designed to support your well-being and future success as a school-based professional.
