Work Environment You will be working in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in the heart of Keyport, New Jersey. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology and rehabilitation equipment, creating an optimal environment for both therapists and patients. The onsite setting allows for direct interaction with your patients, facilitating immediate feedback and personalized care adjustments. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities, utilizing various diagnostic techniques to develop individualized treatment plans. Direct therapeutic interventions aimed at improving and restoring motion, strength, and overall physical function while preventing further disability. Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants in the implementation of patient care plans, ensuring that treatment protocols are followed correctly. Engage with patients through a variety of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to enhance mobility and facilitate recovery. Regularly assess patients' progress and adapt treatment plans as needed, documenting all evaluations, updates, and recommendations meticulously. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team during case conferences to formulate and review comprehensive treatment strategies tailored to each patient's needs. Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process and provide clear instructions on utilizing physical therapy devices effectively. Conduct functional assessments and contribute to the continual revision of patient care plans, ensuring the utilization of community resources efficiently. Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with healthcare standards and organizational policies. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices. Patient Population / Client Focus This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgery, chronic pain conditions, and mobility impairments. You will tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each patient, fostering an environment of trust and support as they navigate their rehabilitation journey. Qualifications Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with a clean record void of sanctions or disciplinary actions. Proven expertise in multiple manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability to create effective structured exercise programs. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate documentation and patient management. Strong knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy methods to ensure quality patient care. Preferred Experience Experience in a rehabilitation facility or similar healthcare environment, preferably in a physical therapy role. Demonstrated success in treating a broad spectrum of orthopedic conditions. Prior experience working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary range of
USD 100,000
to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
