Position Overview We invite passionate and skilled Physical Therapists to apply for a full-time role at Greenfield Rehab and Wellness Center in Lakewood, New Jersey. As a key member of our dynamic healthcare team, you will play a vital role in restoring patients' mobility and enhancing their physical performance. Your work will encompass a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation and wellness, including assessment, diagnosis, and the application of targeted interventions. About the Organization Greenfield Rehab and Wellness Center is dedicated to providing top-tier rehabilitation services within a modern, state-of-the-art sports medicine facility that spans over 5,000 square feet. Our center combines advanced treatment technologies with an evidence-based approach to care. We are committed to excellence and ensuring effective client-centered services that promote recovery and well-being. Work Environment Located in the scenic area of Lakewood, New Jersey, our center provides an onsite work environment that fosters collaboration among healthcare professionals. You will work alongside a close-knit team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering exceptional care. The facility is designed to create a healing atmosphere for patients recovering from orthopedic conditions and sports-related injuries. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations and develop personalized treatment strategies to meet each patient's unique objectives. Maintain a manageable patient load of one client per hour, allowing you to provide quality time and attention to each case. Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility, emphasizing cost-effective approaches. Create and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs that empower patients to regain their strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. Document all care provided accurately, ensuring that progress notes and treatment plans are detailed and aligned with regulatory guidelines. Engage with patients throughout their treatment journey to motivate and support them in achieving their functional goals. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to integrate multidisciplinary care, ensuring comprehensive support for patients. Monitor patient progress continually, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed for optimal outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus Our facility primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, providing a wide range of rehabilitation services focused on orthopedic cases. You will work with patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders, allowing for impactful and transformative care experiences. A strong commitment to patient education and empowerment is crucial as we guide clients towards a healthier, more active lifestyle. Qualifications Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. Valid New Jersey Physical Therapist License, free from any board or disciplinary actions. Expertise in manual therapy techniques that enhance rehabilitation effectiveness. Proficiency in developing and executing tailored exercise programs for diverse patient needs. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management. Preferred Experience Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is essential, as familiarity with the treatment of similar cases will enhance your effectiveness.
