Job Description
Universal Institute Physical Therapy Department is currently seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join its team to provide an uncompromising level of care in its highly charged positive environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with a positive team atmosphere with great clients. Work with brain-injured adults. Evaluation of clients in accordance with the diagnosis and prescription Development and revision or rehabilitation goals and treatment objectives Development and revision of an appropriate treatment program to achieve the established goals Carry out treatment programs and/or supervise PTA and rehabilitation technicians and aides in carrying out appropriate tasks Monitor patient progress and response to treatments Assure safety of clients and staff during treatment sessions Maintain all appropriate documentation with date and signatures Contact referring physician for clarification or elaboration of treatment orders and recommended changes as indicated Evaluate for, document and obtain necessary durable medical equipment and adaptive equipment Participate in other related departmental activities such as meetings, clerical duties, and maintenance of inventory care of equipment Actively participate in outcomes measurement programs as assigned Actively participate with discharge planning Participate in clinical education program of physical therapy students Participate in care coordinator services through completion of monthly clinical summaries
