Job Description
Physical Therapist — Clinical Autonomy. Real Support. Sustainable Volume. $90,000-$100,000+ | Monday-Friday | No Weekends | Multidisciplinary Practice Northeast Spine and Sports Medicine is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our established multidisciplinary practice. For 25 years, Northeast has provided comprehensive musculoskeletal care throughout New Jersey. We offer physical therapists the opportunity to practice with clinical autonomy, work with a diverse patient population, and collaborate with professionals across multiple healthcare disciplines. With locations throughout the region, we welcome candidates from a broad geographic area and consider placement based on both organizational needs and individual fit. Practice Physical Therapy as a Craft Our physical therapists treat a diverse orthopedic caseload encompassing a broad range of diagnoses, levels of complexity, and stages of recovery. PTs maintain meaningful autonomy over evaluation, treatment planning, and progression of care. Our clinical philosophy values both skilled manual intervention and effective exercise prescription, with treatment individualized to the needs of each patient. We are looking for clinicians with strong clinical reasoning who also recognize that there is rarely only one way to solve a problem. The strongest therapists remain curious throughout their careers, adapt when necessary, and continue refining their approach as their experience grows. Communication Is Part of Excellent Clinical Care Technical knowledge alone does not make an exceptional physical therapist. Our most successful clinicians are able to translate complex clinical findings into information patients can understand and use. They establish trust, communicate a clear rationale for treatment, and help patients understand their role in achieving a successful outcome. We value therapists who are confident, approachable, adaptable, and capable of developing strong relationships with their patients. A Multidisciplinary Environment Physical therapists at Northeast practice alongside physicians, chiropractors, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals. This model provides opportunities for collaboration, shared clinical insight, and coordinated management of patients whose needs extend beyond a single discipline. Our therapists are supported by an established clinical and administrative infrastructure designed to allow them to focus primarily on providing excellent patient care. A Sustainable Approach to Outpatient Practice Northeast believes strong clinical performance and strong compensation should not require an unsustainable approach to patient care. Our outpatient model is structured to balance productivity with the time and resources necessary to evaluate patients appropriately, provide skilled treatment, communicate effectively, and manage the responsibilities associated with professional practice. We also recognize that physical therapists are licensed professionals and believe they should be given appropriate autonomy in managing their clinical and administrative responsibilities. Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation generally ranging from $90,000-$100,000+, based on experience and qualifications Employer contribution toward health insurance Dental and vision coverage available Competitive 401(k) matching program Continuing education support Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend requirements Established clinical and administrative support No routine marketing expectations Multidisciplinary practice environment Build Your Career at Northeast Northeast has grown substantially while maintaining the close-knit culture that has defined our organization for 25 years. Our individual offices function as teams, and the relationships among our employees remain one of the strongest aspects of our organization. We value clinicians who want to excel in their immediate role while continuing to develop professionally. Individuals who demonstrate exceptional clinical performance, initiative, and an interest in the broader organization may find opportunities to expand their contributions over time. We are looking for physical therapists who are confident without being rigid, independent while remaining collaborative, and committed to continuing to learn throughout their careers. New graduates and experienced Physical Therapists who are interested in a long-term professional opportunity are encouraged to apply.
