As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, rehabilitative specialists, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care and treatment coordination. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients, utilizing orthopedic physical therapy methodologies to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at maximizing function and mobility. Implement and modify therapy interventions to meet patient needs, including exercises, manual therapy techniques, modalities, and education on injury prevention and home care. Oversee and mentor physical therapist assistants and support staff, ensuring they adhere to established protocols and professional standards while assisting with patient care. Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and modifications in accordance with clinic policies and state regulations to maintain compliance and quality of care. Engage in continuous education and professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to enhance skills and stay abreast of the latest advancements in orthopedic physical therapy. Promote and uphold a culture of safety and quality care within the clinic, aligning with our organizational goals to improve patient outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus Tria Orthopedics serves a broad spectrum of patients, including adolescents, adults, and senior citizens, who are seeking recovery from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, or management of chronic conditions. Our orthopedic therapists specialize in evaluating and treating musculoskeletal pain and mobility issues, tailoring interventions to address specific patient needs and ensure their return to optimal function. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with a strong focus on orthopedic practice. Active state licensure or certification as a physical therapist in New Jersey. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. Preferred Experience CPR certification is preferred, unless specified otherwise by hospital policy. Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic evaluation, treatment planning, and community-driven patient education. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
