Work Environment The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, equipped with advanced therapeutic modalities and tools. The clinic's atmosphere is designed to foster teamwork and professional development, allowing therapists to share knowledge and techniques to enhance their practice. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a stable schedule conducive to both personal and professional growth. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of adult patients, developing individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals. Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and educational guidance to enhance recovery outcomes. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously using CureMD EMR to ensure accurate and up-to-date patient records. Engage in collaborative discussions with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to tailor comprehensive care strategies for optimal patient recovery. Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and lifestyle modifications to promote ongoing wellness. Maintain the highest standards of care and professionalism within the clinic, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Patient Population / Client Focus The clinic primarily serves an adult patient demographic aged 40 to 65, who may be recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our therapists take a personalized approach, ensuring treatments are crafted to meet the distinct rehabilitative needs and recovery goals of each individual. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required. An active New Jersey Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one. Strong clinical reasoning skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with electronic medical record systems, particularly CureMD, is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team and contribute positively to the clinic's culture.
