Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient clinic located in Monroe Township, New Jersey. This full-time role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about providing high-quality care for orthopedic patients. Located in the heart of Monroe, NJ, our clinic serves a diverse community by focusing on evidence-based treatment methods tailored to the unique needs of each patient. Our team comprises highly trained healthcare professionals including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurse practitioners, all working together to provide comprehensive care for our clients. Work Environment This onsite position requires you to provide care in our clinic, which is designed to create a welcoming, comfortable, and efficient environment for both staff and patients. The clinic operates during regular weekdays, specifically from Monday to Friday, with scheduled hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare providers, ensuring a unified approach to patient rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities Effectively manage a caseload of up to three patients per hour, providing targeted treatment focused on orthopedic conditions. Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and patient education to maximize recovery and function. Perform thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations, thereby crafting individualized treatment plans that meet their specific needs. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as orthopedic surgeons, occupational therapists, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care. Document patient interactions meticulously using CureMD electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available for the entire care team. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on adult patients aged 40 to 65 who are dealing with various orthopedic conditions. These may include post-operative recovery, pain management, and rehabilitation following sports injuries or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will be critical in helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required. An active New Jersey Physical Therapist license (or eligibility) is mandatory to practice. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to engage effectively with patients and communicate with the clinical team. Preferred Experience While prior outpatient experience is preferred, we welcome applications from recent graduates seeking to develop their clinical skills in a supportive setting. Experience in orthopedic physical therapy will be considered an advantage, especially in relation to the treatment of adults. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from
