Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to support the Morris County region. The ideal candidate will have acute care and/or home health experience , strong clinical skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Epic experience is preferred. This position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend shifts required .
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care and treatment programs. Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions based on patient needs. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, mobility, exercises, and ongoing care. Accurately document patient evaluations, treatments, and interventions. Complete billing and clinical documentation appropriately and timely. Exercise independent clinical judgment when managing moderately complex cases with minimal to no supervision. Support Lead Clinicians with competency development and implementation. Participate in the orientation and training of new staff members. Serve as a clinical instructor for students when appropriate. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality patient outcomes. Maintain compliance with applicable clinical and professional standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in acute care , preferably within a large academic medical center. Home health experience preferred. Epic EMR experience preferred. Board Certification as a Specialist in an area relevant to acute care is preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.
Education & Licensing:
Current New Jersey Physical Therapist (PT) license required. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program. 0-4 years of Physical Therapist experience strongly preferred.
