As a Physical Therapist, your day will be filled with meaningful interactions, allowing you to utilize your skills in a hands-on manner while enjoying the benefits of working in a community-oriented environment. The typical work week runs from Monday to Friday, with hours from 8 AM to 3 PM. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations for children and adults, utilizing evidence-based practices to accurately assess needs. Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique challenges and rehabilitation goals. Regularly monitor and document patient progress, utilizing SOAP notes to ensure transparent communication within our electronic record system. Educate patients and their families about therapeutic procedures, expected outcomes, and challenges related to the recovery process. Meet departmental goals and ensure a high level of productivity in alignment with the business objectives of Physiocare. Collaborate with other therapy professionals to create a comprehensive treatment plan when clients engage in multiple services. Actively contribute to promoting a positive culture and embody the core values of our organization through exemplary service and professional conduct. Patient Population / Client Focus Our Patient community is diverse, encompassing individuals of various ages, races, and ethnic backgrounds. As a Physical Therapist, you'll engage with clients facing a spectrum of musculoskeletal issues, neurological conditions, and post-operative rehabilitation needs. Your ability to adapt treatments and interventions to a wide array of patient demographics is essential in fostering an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all patients. Qualifications A Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required. Current and unrestricted licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey. A strong commitment to providing in-person and, when appropriate, telehealth therapy sessions. A genuine passion for working with a diverse patient population and a willingness to embrace flexible treatment modalities. Excellent collaboration skills and a patient-centric approach to care delivery. Preferred Experience Prior experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, with familiarity in pediatric physical therapy being a significant advantage. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, enhancing documentation efficiency and patient management. A background in interdisciplinary collaboration within a therapeutic environment is desirable. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000, commensurate with experience, skills, and credentials.
