Role Summary:
Medscape seeks an Associate Account Manager to support client satisfaction and program delivery for Medical Affairs accounts. This role partners with the primary relationship owner and manages project deliverables, while also independently handling smaller projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in communication, account leadership, and deadline-driven project execution.Responsibilities:
Support account team with project execution, including kick-offs, status report updates, and project progress reporting. Build strong relationships with internal teams (Project Management, Scientific Services, Creative, Product, Insights, etc.) to ensure smooth delivery. Help manage client relationships with pharma, medical device, and healthcare partners; translate priorities for internal teams. Track project implementation using task management systems; monitor scope and timelines. Streamline processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure client expectations are met.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. 1+ year of account or project management experience, ideally in a medical communications agency. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with MS Office, task management systems (Workfront, Salesforce), and online collaboration tools (Google, SharePoint). Knowledge of medical terminology or healthcare industry a plus. Occasional travel required.Salary range:
$65,000 - $70,000Benefits :
