Work Environment This full-time position requires the Physical Therapist to work predominantly in-homes, providing direct care to patients as part of our integrated service model. Our work hours run from Monday to Friday, ensuring a balanced work-life integration while allowing for seamless patient support. This position requires innovative thinking and adaptability as you navigate the unique challenges of delivering care in diverse home settings. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, developing customized treatment programs that align with their individual needs and medical directives. Implement various therapeutic techniques and modalities, ensuring that treatments are effective and adhere to the physician's plan of care while closely monitoring patient progress. Facilitate collaborative consultations with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes through coordinated and comprehensive care approaches. Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, prognoses, and therapeutic processes, fostering an environment of support and understanding. Demonstrate exceptional customer service by establishing positive relationships with patients, effectively addressing any concerns, and ensuring adherence to the treatment plan. Meet defined utilization goals and contribution objectives to help drive the clinic's operational success and patient satisfaction levels. Patient Population / Client Focus The orthopedic physical therapist will engage diverse patient populations, treating individuals across various demographics. Our patients may include those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes requiring rehabilitation from sports injuries, as well as individuals needing neurological and pediatric therapy. Your expertise will be pivotal in customizing treatments to address the unique needs of each patient, enhancing their quality of life and functional independence. Qualifications A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. A valid State License in Physical Therapy for New Jersey. A minimum of two years of hands-on clinical experience in a relevant setting, ideally focused on orthopedic care. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to simplify complex information for patients and caregivers. Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills, to maintain accurate patient records and documentation. A demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with patients, driving them toward exceeding functional goals. Preferred Experience Experience in home health care settings, providing therapy services in patient homes. Proficient in evidence-based treatment methodologies within orthopedic rehabilitation. Knowledge of community health resources and ability to integrate services to further support patient care. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this role ranges from
USD 100,000
to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
